My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As I began the first book of this series called Raleigh Point Rescue, I was having a hard time getting into the story but I continued reading it any way. I have a hard time not finishing a book and giving it a chance. As I got to know the charachter's and there past history the story begins to unfold. The first book does a wonderful job setting everything up for the next book. Which is a wonderful story of family, friendships, trust and love.

Raleigh Point is a group home that is family ran, they take in kids and adults that are shifters. Shifters meaning they can take on either a human or animal form, depending on the situation. They give them a home and safe environment to be there self.

In Raleigh Point Rescue

Mac rescues Lisa from a psychiatric hospital where she has been drugged and mistreated most of her life. When he gets closer to her realizes she is his mate. She has to learn to trust herself and him. She is an alpha female which is rare. They have a mating ritual when there mated for the first time is when she will get her shifter ability. Lisa is kidnapped by an alpha rogue wanting to make her his queen. Mac will stop at nothing to protect his mate.

In Raleigh Point Hostage

You get more of there story along with Skye and Riley and the rest of the family. Riley is a bear shifter and has a great gift of being able to heal people. Which comes in handy when he meets Skye, she is unconscious and hurt. Skye does not trust easily because of her past and the secret she keeps. She is afraid her past will come back to haunt her, and scared to start a new life with Riley. The family helps her at every turn.
