I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first A.J. Carella book. I truly enjoyed her writing style. The characters are deep and intriguing. Hannah had a rough childhood which lead her to open a woman's shelter. She did everything she could to help these woman and provide a safe place for them to get back on their feet.
Luke is a honest cop raising a child on his own and falls into Hannah's world unexpectedly.
There are some great twist in this novella that you don't see coming. An enjoyable read.
