The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith

REVIEWED By Micky Barnard

The Geography of You and MeThe Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3.5 stars

The first 20% of this book grabbed me hard and then it ebbed and flowed from there. I wanted a bit more from the characters, relationship development and the storyline.

Lucy is edging on adulthood but lives as though she is, with parents who travel and trust her to be responsible in the middle of NYC. She's in the elevator going to her apartment when the whole city blacks out. She's in the elevator with Owen and they develop both an awkward but genuine rapport. This book follows them over the next year.

The writing flowed and the characters were interesting, I just wanted to know them and their families better. I would definitely read more about Lucy and Owen because I believe there's so much more there.

A copy of this book was provided by the publisher in return for an honest review.
