Jesse's Diner by Cardeno C.

REVIEWED BY Joanne Swinney

Jesse's Diner (Hope, #2)Jesse's Diner by Cardeno C.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lunch anyone? I recommend Jesse's Diner. Tanner who now runs the diner is an amazing cook. He was left the diner when his mentor and very good friend, Jesse passed away, the man was the closest thing he had to a father.

Mike is Tanner's best friend since school and also the son of Jesse. Actually Mike has two dad's the other is Steve. It never bothered Mike being brought up by a gay couple, he is very protective of his family and that includes Tanner.

Mike has a problem and asks Tanner for help, he believes his dad, Steve is missing Jesse terribly and not coping. He tells Tanner that he's been forced to take time off work. He wants Tanner to check in on his father as he's away at college. Now Tanner will do anything to help out but he's so nervous, he's had a crush on Steve ever since he met him. Not that he ever did anything about it, Jesse and Mike meant to much to him.

Tanner does visit Steve and they do become really great friends. He tries to curve his staring but just can't help himself. To Tanner, Steve is a God.
He brings him dinner every night, it's so sweet. They enjoy a meal together and Tanner then returns home alone.

This is such a sweet, loving story. Life changes so fast, who knows what's around the corner. When Steve reveals a secret to Tanner, he takes it well, but I was rather shocked. I thought WOW!! okay how is this going to play out. To my surprise it was beautiful. It makes you realise anything is possible when you love someone.

This book has romance by the bucket load. If you love M/M Romance then this book is definitely a story you will love. It has a few surprises but I hope like me, you can keep an open mind and see that love truly can conquer all.
