Wow. A brilliant story expertly told. Dystopia at its finest. A bad-a** heroine that I didn't know whether to hug her or run from her. Nada has had a horrible life. When the world went to crap and the new government took over, the criminals were banished to live in the Underworld. She was born there and has never known anything else but abuse, hate and filth. Her father is the king of the Underworld and you would think that would give her princess status, but far from it. The king is a nasty piece of work. Him...I want to choke or stab or shoot.

Nada is a brilliant character and I was so absorbed in her story I couldn't turn pages fast enough.

Shadow was born above ground where no crime, no matter small, is tolerated. He was sent to the Underworld, ripped from his life. He is bitter and brutal. He became the King's soldier in the Underworld. He had believed ever horrible thing told to him by the King about Nada until he was ordered to follow her and saw a completely different person.

When Nothing is All You've Got hit all the feels. I wanted to yell in frustration, shed a tear at the tender moments and cringe at the violent ones. The passion between Shadow and Nada was off the charts and the ending could not have been more perfect.

Great read!
