Wrong Place, Right Time by Elle Casey

REVIEWED BY Micky Barnard

Wrong Place, Right Time (The Bourbon Street Boys, #2)Wrong Place, Right Time by Elle Casey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a good continuation from book one in this series following a security firm called the Bourbon Boys. This book is about Dev the giant and Jenny, May's sister from book one. I would define this book as a fun and flirty romantic comedy. It has a bunch of laugh out loud minutes alongside some heart pulling ones.

This story is slightly light on storyline but I was able to forgive that because Dev and Jenny's characters were so good and well developed. Their roles as parents but also as single people were defining in terms of character goodness. Their lack of confidence versus clear skills in their work life and parenting role was funny at times and their compatability despite clear differences were enjoyable to read. What I liked in particular about Elle Casey's writing in this book was her decision to only take them so far down the road in their relationship and that it was a slow burn. I'm looking forward future Bourbon Boys or maybe Toni in the books ahead.

A copy of this book was provided by the publisher in return for an honest review.
