This is an enjoyable read for lovers of mafia romance.

We met Logan in previous books in this series when he started working with the mafia outside of his CIA job. A double agent of sorts. This book will best be enjoyed by reading the series in order but can be read as a standalone.

Logan pursues a position with the mafia after his initial involvement as a means to support his mothers costly care.

Rosalia is the former head of the mafia's daughter and has been sheltered from the criminal and violent nature of her father's life and his involvement. James is very overbearing and overprotective with her. She is beyond naive about it and its frustrating at times. Her sass adds some humor to an angsty story line.

For Logan has an interesting plot and plenty of action. All the Chicago Syndicate boys are hot and passionate, so there is plenty of sexy time. Logan and Rosalia have several obstacles that have to overcome to reach their HEA.

It fell short for me in the need to continually re-explain everything. I feel you need to give the reader some credit that they can figure it out or remember who someone is. Regardless, I enjoyed the story and love me some Logan.
