Max by Sawyer Bennett

Jules has recently had her life turned upside down. She lost her sister to cancer four short months ago and became an instant mother to her niece and two nephews. She's struggling to make ends meet, working two jobs among other things, trying to find her feet, trying not to lose herself. Enters Max, her knight in shining armor. He's the starting goalie for the Carolina Cold Fury hockey team. He's a sweetheart; generous, kind, and an all-round good person. Maybe tooooooo much of a nice guy, but still more than a little likable.

This book was an ok read for me. I found Jules' insecurities and whining pretty tiresome and just couldn't connect with her which impacted my reading experience.
