My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Becky, Alice and Elijah have a bond that is as close as a blood relative and will withstand any obstacle thrown at them. Nothing will break their bond - even death. Alice is every parents dream child and well liked by all her peers. Becky is still an adorable teen, but more out going. She has had to rely on Alice and her parents after her own mother passed away. Elijah has had a crush on Alice for a while - since elementary school - and he now has his mind set on wooing her. Alice is determined to be a Prima Ballerina and works extremely hard to achieve her advance levels first attempt. But it all takes a toll on her body and she ends up in hospital for tests. Not in a million years did they guess this outcome.

This is a touching YA novel that is going to break your heart, but has a part two that will also mend it. It's a story of family ties and strong friendships that you will do anything for them. Be prepared for an emotional drama that will come full circle and heal again.
