Anything You Can Do by RS Grey

A highly enjoyable enemies to lovers romance with an abundance of truly laugh out loud (and wake up your husband) moments.

Daisy and Lucas were born on the same day and from that day, have been mortal enemies. The line, anything you can do, I can do better absolutely applies to them in every way.

Daisy has returned home to for a position in her local medical practice in the hopes that she'll realize her dream and take over when the current doctor retires. What she hasn't taken into account is Lucas having the same idea and also returning back to Hamilton for a position at the same practice and the same hope to take over the practice. They both use various ploys to try and sway the practice staff to their side and it was so much fun. The bickering and antics that ensued throughout the book were highly entertaining and made for a really enjoyable read.

So having said all this, why wasn't it a five star read? Simply because Daisy got on my nerves more often than not. She was a tad too immature, too tunnel-visioned, too focused on her childish competition to make her truly and unforgivably likable. Lucas on the other hand was perfection. He had the personality, good looks, and kind heart that made him the ultimate book boyfriend, particularly when you add in that he was willing to do whatever it would take to make Daisy happy.

*arc received in exchange for honest review.
