Million Baller Baby by Rie Warren

REVIEWED BY Tina Shobe

Million Baller Baby (Bad Boy Ballers, #1)Million Baller Baby by Rie Warren
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rafe Macintyre is the very talented, very hot, very sought-after by women Carolina Crush guarterback.

Peyton Fox inherits ownership of the Carolina Crush Team from her father. She knows her football and is going to do everything possible to turn this losing team around.

Here's a kicker...these two have a history. A one time hook-up the night Rafe signs onto the Crush. At the time he had no idea she was the owners daughter. They have done their best to avoid each other since.

Rafe understand where Peyton is trying to take the team and does his best to get the players to act like a team and win some games.

Peyton is dealing with a lot. The sudden loss of her father, trying to turn her losing football team into a winning one and with a 5 year old secret that very few know about.

The chemistry is pretty strong between Rafe and Peyton. When they give into it it's pretty explosive. Only Rafe doesn't want a 'right now' he wants a future with them together but will her secret tear them apart or bound them even tighter as a family?

I love Peyton's tough as nails attitude. She has to be dealing with a football team. But I also like that underneath that tough exterior she has a softness and vulnerability.

I think the secondary characters really add to this story. The other football players and Peyton's best friend Philomena (Phil). They bring more reality and humor to this story. The fact that Phil asks for a threesome is not only hot but funny because her asking when Rafe can hear embarrasses Peyton.

This book is very well written. I didn't want to put this book down. I found it quite entertaining. I really enjoyed this book.
