Just Like ThatJust Like That by Nicola Rendell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Penny Darling is on a self imposed 'No Man Diet' so she doesn't give into Russ' interest when he help untangle her earbuds at that airport.

I think fate intervened when Penny mistakenly takes Russ' bag and leaves hers behind when her address on a luggage tag. When he delivers her bag to her Russ is able to talk Penny into going to dinner. A dinner that ends them in Urgent Care. The story takes off from there.

The other characters really add to this story. Maisie, Penny's awesome next door neighbor and best friend. Guppy, Penny's miniature horse of a dog, Russ' Aunt Sharon, who is a trip-literally and figuratively and Mayor Jeffers -he's almost too-good-to-be true or is he...

Russ already has new career/job lined up after he finishes he last Private Investigative job in Florida. Penny has made it very clear she's not leaving her home. How are they going to make a relationship work....

This is the first book I have read by Nicola Rendell and after reading this book I'm thoroughly hooked.

This book had it all-humor, sizzling sex, a lovable dog, and a twist of intrigue.
