Dark Promises by Winter Renshaw

REVIEWED BY Becky Cox

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Keir Montgomery, son of the President, political aspirations and a playboy. He needs to clean up his act to get ready for his announcement as a candidate. He is gorgeous and smooth talking.

Rowan, daughter of a wealthy politically connected family, wants nothing to do with it. Just out of a relationship that broke her heart with a politician. Another one is the last thing on her mind. She just wants a bit of fun to help mend her broken heart.

Keir and Rowan are delightful together. The alternating POV's is most entertaining as they plot and scheme against each other.

I did not read the first book in this series but it took nothing away from this one. The characters are strong and well developed and I enjoyed them very much.

I recommend this book for all romance readers. Winter is a clever storyteller and I guarantee you will enjoy.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
