The V CardThe V Card by Lauren Blakely
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I would love to get inside either one of these two awesome authors minds to see what makes them tick. They have an amazing ability to think like a man, and write in his POV so brilliantly, it’s uncanny. They also pull off writing a females POV and not only make her sweet and adorable, but also sexy and powerful. This friends to romance novel was exactly the perfect remedy to my funk, I am smiling once again.

This is a fast paced rom-com with a little bit of angsty thrown in to make it a well rounded book. It was totally believable and I fell right into the story and came out the other side extremely happy. It flowed exceedingly well, and it makes me wonder who wrote what character, or what chapters.

When you make a promise to look after your dead best friends little sister, I don’t think Graham had sex ed on his list of things to easy her anguish of losing her brother. But CJ needed a teacher to show her how to bring all her dirty thoughts forward and make her fantasies come true. Which makes for a fun and steamy read for us. I loved how the characters were both successful but also vulnerable, then found the strength again to go after what they truly treasured. Each having equal power and wanting to please each other is absol-fucking-lutely sexy! Couldn’t recommend this book any higher.
